Situation vacant for M.Ed. & B.Ed.
Magadh College of Education, At Dubhal, Gaya (Bihar)
Faculty required for M.Ed.
1. Professor & Associate Professor: Two (02) positions in each.
Qualifications:
(i) Postgraduate degree with minimum 55% marks in the discipline relevant to the area of specialization.
(ii) Postgraduate degree in Education (M.Ed. / M.A. Education) with minimum 55% marks.
(iii) Ph.D. degree in Education or in the discipline relevant to the area of specialization.
(iv) Any other qualifications prescribed by UGC like NET qualification or length of professional teaching experience as per UGC or state government norms for the positions of Professor and Associate Professor
Note:
(A) For Professor: At least ten years of teaching experience in University department of education or College of Education of which a minimum of five years at the M.Ed. level with published work in the area of his specialization.
(B) For Associate Professor: At least eight years of teaching experience in University department of education or College of Education of which a minimum of three years at the M.Ed. level with published work in the area of his specialization.
2. Assistant Professor: Six (06 ) positions
Qualifications:
(i) Postgraduate degree with minimum 55% marks in the discipline relevant to the area of specialization.
(ii) Postgraduate degree in Education (M.Ed. / M.A. Education) with minimum 55% marks.
(iii) Any other qualification prescribed by UGC like NET qualification.
Faculty required for B.Ed.
1. Perspectives in Education or Foundation Course: Three (03) positions
(i) Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences with minimum 55% marks; and
(ii) M.Ed. degree from a recognised university with minimum 55% marks.
OR
(i) Postgraduate (M.A.) degree in Education with minimum 55% marks; and
(ii) B.Ed. / B.El.Ed. degree with minimum 55% marks.
2. Curriculum and Pedagogic Courses: Eight (08) positions
(i) Post graduate degree in Science/ Mathematics/ Social Sciences/ Languages with minimum 55% marks.
(ii) M.Ed. degree with minimum 55 % marks.
(iii) Desirable: NET / Ph.D. degree in Education with subject specializations.
3. Visual Arts: (01 Position)
(i) Postgraduate degree in Fine Arts (MFA) with minimum 55 % marks.
Salary : As per NCTE norms/State Govt./UGC. The Reservation Policy of the State Govt. for SC/ST/OBC and disabled persons will be followed.
